Make Talking Pictures with Blabberize

Blabberize is a simple tool for content creation. Students can make any picture talk with just a few quick clicks. Click play on the koala below for an example.

Create an Account

A free account is required to save your work, so you’ll want to take care of that before getting started.

Pick an Image

Upload a picture from your computer.

Crop Your Image

Click and drag the pink circles to select the area of your image that you want to use.

Place Mouth(s)

Blabberize allows you to place multiple mouths on one image. All mouths will move together to the same audio. Drag the mouth into place and use the green and purple circles to change its shape. The large green circle is used to change how far the mouth moves. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to preview your work before saving it.

Record Audio

Record your voice or upload a recording (MP3 or WAV file). They have a button to phone in your audio if you don’t have a microphone, but the feature doesn’t seem to work.

Preview and Finish

If you want to edit anything you can go back to any step of the process by clicking on the appropriate icon in the bottom left corner. Once you are happy with your work you have the option to add another seen or save your project. Projects can be designated “private” if you don’t want them to show up in the search or browse page.

You can share your work with a link like this oneĀ http://blabberize.com/view/id/1618824 or you can embed it into a web page, blog, LMS, etc. like the one at the top of this post. You can also download your blabber as a video file with just a few clicks.
