Cite Websites with a Click
Cite This For Me’s Google Chrome extension is a real time-saver for citing online resources. Just click the browser extension when you are on a website that you want to cite and it will pull in most, if not all of the necessary information to create a citation. You can choose the style (APA, Chicago, Harvard, or MLA) from within the extension. Your citation can be added to your bibliography on CiteThisForMe.com, or you can just copy and paste the citation into your own document.

Collaboration
The Share with Group option generates a link that you can share with members of a group so that all of you can collaboratively work on the same bibliography at the same time.
Export Your References
Bibliographies are saved for seven days for free accounts. The easiest way to export your citations is to simply copy and paste. You can also send it as a text file through email, or save it to Google Drive or Evernote.
Premium Accounts
Cite This For Me is a powerful tool using just the free features. You can remove ads and access some extra features for $9.99/month. Two premium features really stand out.
- The ability to save bibliographies indefinitely (instead of just for 7 days).
- Cite This For Me for Word – PC users can import in-text citations and formatted bibliographies directly into Word using the Microsoft Word Add-On. Unfortunately it does not work with the Mac version of Word.
RefME is Now Cite This For Me
I’ve been recommending RefME as my preferred way to cite sources for the last few year. RefME is now part of Cite This For Me. RefME users’ accounts have already been transferred to Cite this For Me – just use your RefME login. You’ll need to download the Cite This For Me app and browser extension as RefMe apps and extensions will no longer be supported.
