Tech Toys, STEM Toys, and More
As a tech coach and consultant, I get to check out the latest and greatest educational toys and gadgets. I’ve selected my favorite educational toys in three different price ranges. This is the third post in a three part series.
5 STEM Toys Under $25
STEM education has to become more than playing with toothpicks and marshmallows, but that doesn’t mean it has to be expensive. Check out these 5 STEM toys for under $25.
I featured Stikbot Studio in a previous post, but it’s definitely worth repeating. The figures and green screen stage work great with the well-designed app. My daughter has enjoyed hours of creative fun with Stikbot Studio.
Build spatial reasoning with this marble run / logic puzzle. Recommended for ages 8+, this toy logic game comes with 60 challenge cards to promote inquiry.

This affordable set is a great way to get started building with K’NEX. The kit is designed to let kids create 3 different amusement park rides – a swing ride, a boom ride, and a Ferris wheel. Complete with a batter-powered motor, this kit is great for kids ages 8-15.
With 6 different designs, and 5 copies of each design, kids will love making 30 paper Starfighters. The kit comes with instructions, custom-printed paper, tape, and six display stands.

I only recommend products that I personally use or know their value, so you’re in good hands. Purchasing products through some of the links above may result in me receiving a couple of bucks. It helps offset the cost of hosting this site, but it’s certainly not enough to buy a pony. I do however appreciate your support!
If you find better prices on any of these items, please share in the comments below.
